Terms of Use
Last updated:
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Kepoint (“the app”), developed and operated by Dongqing Yang, an individual developer (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA, these Terms apply to the extent permitted by law.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store’s usage rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app except where the law allows it.
Your content
You own the items, goals, and records you create in the app. They are stored on your device (and in your iCloud account if you enable sync), not on our servers. You are responsible for keeping backups of anything important to you.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app in a way that breaks the law, infringes anyone’s rights, or interferes with the app or the services it relies on — including generating invalid ad impressions or clicks.
Advertising
The free version of the app shows ads provided by third parties such as Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for products and services they promote. How advertising partners handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Purchases
Remove Ads is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It removes ads from the app on devices signed in with the same Apple Account, and you can restore it with Restore Purchases in the app’s settings. Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy. Payments, refunds, and Family Sharing are handled by Apple under the App Store’s terms; we cannot issue refunds directly.
Changes to the app
We may update, change, or discontinue features of the app at any time. If we discontinue the app, purchases you have made will continue to work in the version installed on your device to the extent technically possible.
Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the app will be error-free or that your data will never be lost. Reminders and timers depend on your device’s settings and the operating system, and may not always be delivered on time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for the app’s in-app purchases in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country.
Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. Your license ends automatically if you do not comply with these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
